| Production method | It is prepared by the reaction of phenylacetic acid and thionyl chloride. Mix equimolar phenylacetic acid and thionyl chloride, and react at room temperature to release sulfur dioxide and hydrogen chloride gas. When there is no longer a large amount of gas released, heat the reaction mixture to 30-40 ℃, keep the temperature for 25h, and add benzene with 1/4 volume of the mixture. The volatile matter is removed by low-temperature distillation, and the volatile matter is gradually reduced to 0.133kPa. After all volatile matter is removed, the 55-57 ℃(0.133kPa) fraction, namely phenylacetyl chloride, is evaporated. Yield 80-85%. The preparation method is to add phenylacetic acid and thionyl chloride in the reaction kettle, heat and reflux for several hours, heat and decompress to remove the remaining thionyl chloride to obtain crude product, and distill the finished product under reduced pressure. |
